Day #6 Binge Free

Woot woot! And it’s a Saturday. That means if I go to bed tonight without giving into temptation I will be on a 6 day binge free streak.  That is HUGE for me. I’ve faced some of my major trigger situations and foods and still stayed on track. I feel very proud of myself. 

Today was a really good day. I cleaned a bit this morning but you can’t even tell. My house is such a wreck. Then my dad watched Henry while my mom and I had lunch and ran an errand. (My husband was working.) I stayed on my plan at lunch.  That is a big deal for me. I avoided fried foods at Red Lobster and for me that is a huge win. I love their coconut shrimp. Instead I got shrimp cocktail and soup. 

For dinner my mom made delicious burgers with mushrooms. She also made asparagus, salad, and baked potato. It tasted delicious and helped me stay on track. I didn’t have any extra calories for a treat tonight but I am enjoying my vanilla sleepy time tv while I watch one show on DVR before I go to bed. 

I finished my second book this year last night- my goal on goodreads that I set for myself is 15 this year. Now I gotta figure out what I am going to read next. I will write about them tomorrow. For now, I am going to relax.

He took a late nap so he stayed up much later than usual. Let’s cross our fingers he sleeps through the night. 🙏🏻
