This is a famous quote that my BFF from college, Alex, used to say all of the time. And I had to laugh tonight when my support group leader, who also leads the low impact aerobics class I go to 4 days a week, asked ME to be her sub for her class while she is out of town. Did you get that??? Somebody asked ME to be a fitness instructor. I can’t believe I said yes. It’s not for sure confirmed yet, because she has to clear it with the gym owner, but man alive, just being asked was a reminder of how far I’ve come in this journey. It’s easy to get caught up in day to day life and not really take a minute to appreciate your own efforts.
I do have to say that a lot of housework goes to the wayside during the week because of my exercising, but it is so worth it. I am feeling so much better each day, and am really embracing my new lifestyle. I pray every day that I have the strength the next day to keep things going.
Well, it’s Friday night and I did my two exercise classes. I am eating an evening treat – “oh yeah!” Protein bars are my treat of choice lately. Tonight the one I am eating tastes like an almond joy. They are amazing. I am also drinking my tea and watching Criminal Minds.
Anybody have any exciting plans for the weekend?? We don’t and I am pretty happy about it. 😉
Henry got a big boy haircut and I simultaneously love it and hate it. I love it because it is so cute and I hate it because he looks so old! But, I am a fan of short, neat, boy hair cuts. So, Sorry, Henry! Lol.
Have a great Friday night, friends.
