Today was a really good day. I had a delicious breakfast of Aldi’s frozen potatoes O’Brien that are compliant, with some extra peppers added and two eggs.
This is what I did not have even though they were in my house this morning.
I had plans to clean out my office and turn it into my new workout room but I never got around to it. Why, you ask? Because it’s the year of the experience! Hahahah. Craig, Henry and I went to the local brewery at 11 am as they were hosting a mini farmer’s market. It was fun and I got some delicious smelling freshly ground coffee. We can’t wait to try it in the morning. Then we used some gift cards I got for Christmas from the kiddos and we had Panera. I had their Cobb salad, minus the dressing and brought my own Tessemae’s compliant ranch dressing. It was so yummy.
Here’s the website pic of their salad.
That’s a tiny picture. 😂😂😂😂
Then we took Henry to our dead mall. It has a little kids arcade like room in it and there were 0 other kids there so he had a blast.
Then we came home and I took a nap from 4-5. I was so exhausted. I woke up to the smell of something delicious. My husband made a Whole30 dinner!!! He’s the best. It was a chicken recipe from 40 aprons. Here is the link to the recipe. And here is the picture i took.
His recipes always turn out so well. He is much more of a natural cook than I am. It is truly a learned skill for me. I was so grateful that he made this. We had it with some baked sweet potatoes I had made yesterday and I had some leftover Brussels sprouts from yesterday. I am really trying to not snack after dinner. But due to poor scheduling of meals this week I had a hard time this week. But, today went really well. I’m feeling hopeful.
I started reading tomorrow’s entry in the W30 day by day book and I love this:
Ok, I’m gonna go paint my nails and watch some ID Discovery. 😘
Happy Saturday!
